(Hip Pain / Sciatica)
A system of correcting pelvic and sacral “Subluxations”, and also to correct secondary subluxations elsewhere in the spine. The alleged problem areas are located by motion palpation and “confirmed” with full-spine x-ray examination,(if necessary).
Sacral misalignments > Usually presents as a tight restricting type pain over the right or left hip. If not corrected, soon pain continues all the way across the low back. There is difficulty sitting, standing, and bending or twisting. Pain sometimes radiates down the hip to the knee along the side of the leg. Pain can also be felt as a sharp piercing or burning type pain in the groin area in the front, on the same side of hip pain. In most cases the pain is significantly relieved with just one treatment.
Sciatica > The pain often can extend down the entire leg to the foot, and involves the lower spine as well. In more severe cases the person will hardly find any position to get relief. They may be antalgic (leaning forward and to one side, usually away from the pain). The pain presents more towards the back of the thigh and into the calf muscle.
